As one of the world’s renowned designers and manufacturers of bespoke luxury yachts, this boutique design studio is at the top of their league. They are seeking a Design Consultant to come on board with a team whose precise approach and detailing has been the success of this company for many decades to cover maternity leave for 12-14 months starting in May.
Every aspect of the yacht design is tailor-made; therefore, you will need strong verbal and written communication skills in liaising with suppliers and consulting clients. With expectation of the interior finish being paramount. You will be required to design bespoke FF&E, with an eye for colour palettes and materials.
While this is a niche design sector, marine experience is not essential nor is CAD, more a passion for design and a love of creating opulent interiors. Ideally this role will suit a designer with residential or hospitality design, sound knowledge of FF&E and trends while understanding functionality within the nature of their surroundings.
As part of a small design team, you will be based in London, but are part of a 100+ team of specialists located at the south-coast head office. They offer the flexibility to work from home one day a week as well as the opportunity to travel and attend industry boat shows.
